AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN PROPERTY TO THE VILLAGE
OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE (BAYSTER'S SUBDIVISION)
WHEREAS, a written petition has been filed with the Village Clerk of
the Village of Elk Grove Village by Raymond J. Bayster and Lawrence Pagni,
being the record owners of the hereinafter described land and territory,
said petition seeking annexation to the Village of Elk Grove Village; and
WHEREAS, said land and territory is not within the corporate limits
of any municipality, but is contiguous to the Village of Elk Grove Village,
and has no electors residing thereon; and
WHEREAS, any fire protection district, library district, township
road commissioner, or other entity or person entitled to notice prior to
annexation of the subject property has been given such notice as is required
by law; and
WHEREAS, all statutory requirements in reference to the annexation
have been fully complied with and the Village President and Board of Trustees
believe it to be in the best interest of the Village that said land and
territory be annexed thereto;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Cook and DuPage Counties, Illinois
as follows:
SECTION 1. That the following land and territory, which territory is
contiguous to the Village of Elk Grove Village, and not within the limits
of any other municipality, be and the same is hereby annexed to the Village
of Elk Grove Village, so that said territory be included within the boundary
limits of said Village as is by law in such case made and provided:
That part of the West } of the East } of Section 22, Township 41 North,
Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, described as follows:
Commencing at the center of said Section 22; thence South 00°-00'-00"
East along the North and South 4 Section Line of said Section 22,
419.43 feet to the place of beginning; thence continuing South 000-
00'-00" East al8ng said North and South 4 Section Line 69.78 feet;
thence North 90 -00'-00"East 171.99 feet to a point 1x.62 feet West
of the West line of Lively Boulevard; thence North 00 -00'-00" East
Parallel with the said West line of Lively Boulevard 71.75 feet; thence
South 89°-20'-33" West 172.0 feet to the place of beginning in Cook
County, Illinois.
SECTION 2. That all requisite fees due upon annexation to the Village
of Elk Grove Village have been paid.
SECTION 3. That said property shall be zoned 1-1, Light Industrial,
which zoning is the classification described to the subject property on the
official map of the Village.
SECTION 4. That the Village Clerk of the Village of Elk Grove Village
is directed to record a certified copy of this Ordinance, together with
a plat of said territory, with the Recorder of Deeds of Cook County, Illinois.
SECTION 5• That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage and approval according to law.
