HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 1524 - 5/11/1982 - ZONING VARIATION/1450 & 1500 GREENLEAFORDINANCE NO. 1 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION OF THE SIDE -YARD REQUIREMENTS OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE TO PERMIT THE CONSTRUCTION OF AN INTERCONNECTING PASSAGEWAY BETWEEN BUILDINGS LOCATED AT 1450 and 1500 GREENLEAF AVENUE, ELK GROVE VILLAGE, ILLINOIS WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Elk Grove Village at a public meeting duly called and held according to law considered the requests of Robert L. Stovall, Managing Partner for the Beneficiaries of Trust No. 41402 and Trust No. 41403 of LaSalle National Bank for a variation from the side -yard provisions of Sec. 5.1 of the Zoning Ordinance to permit the construction of an interconnecting passageway between two (2) buildings located at 1450 and 1500 Greenleaf Avenue, Elk Grove Village and legally described hereinafter; and WHEREAS, attached to the findings of the Zoning Board of Appeals is a letter by the Petitioner to the effect that the interconnecting enclosure would be removed should the present tenant ever vacate the premises, which letter is hereby incorporated herein by this reference; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village after having considered the findings and recommendation of the Zoning Board of Appeals find and believe that sufficient hardship exists so as to warrant the granting of the variation requested; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows: Section 1: That there be granted a variation of Sec. 5.1 of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Elk Grove Village to LaSalle National Bank as Trustee under Trust Nos. 41402 and 41403 to permit the construction of an interconnecting passageway between two (2) buildings located on the property legally described as follows: C 1450 GREENLEAF Lot 266 in Centex Industrial Park Unit 150, being a Subdivision in the North half of Section 34, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois. 1500 GREENLEAF Lot 267 in Centex Industrial Park Unit 150, being a Subdivision in the North half of Section 34, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois. Subject to the condition that should the present tenant, Auto- matic Switch Company, ever vacate one or both of the buildings for which the variation is granted, then the interconnecting passageway, herein allowed, shall be removed. Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication according to law. VOTES: AYES: 6 NAYS: 0 ABSENT: -n ATTEST: Fay M.
