AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 9.601, SEAL ESTABLISHED,
OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois
as follows:
Section 1: That Section 9.601, Seal Established, of the Municipal Code
of the Village of Elk Grove Village is hereby amended to read as follows:
9.601 Seal Established: "Village of Elk Grove Village
and Dignitatem Aedificatum in Terra and Design"
(two standing elks within a circle, inscribed
within the circle are the words "Village of Elk
Grove Village", and the Village moto "Dignitatem
Aedificatum in Terra").
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval according to law.
