HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 1529 - 7/27/1982 - ANNUAL APPROPRIATION BILLORDINANCE NO. 1529 AN ORDINANCE MAKING APPROPRIATIONS TO DEFRAY THE EXPENSE OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE FOR MUNICIPAL PURPOSES DESIGNATED AS THE "ANNUAL APPROPRIATION BILL" FOR THE PERIOD BEGINNING MAY I,-1982,AND ENDING APRIL'30,1983 ORDINANCE NO. 1529 AN ORDINANCE MAKING APPROPRIATIONS TO DEFRAY THE EXPENSE OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE FOR MUNICIPAL PURPOSES DESIGNATED AS THE "ANNUAL APPROPRIATION BILL" FOR THE PERIOD BEGINNING MAY 1, 1982, AND ENDING APRIL 30, 1983 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois. Section 1. That this ordinance shall be termed and designated as the "Annual Appropriation Bill" for the period beginning May 1, 1982, and ending April 30, 1983. Section 2. ARTICLE XI - MISCELLANEOUS REVENUES 1. All miscellaneous receipts of revenues from all purposes not hereby expressly reserved or appropriated shall be available to any appropriation herein provided for not payable out of specific funds. 2. All unexpended balances of any item or items of any general appropriation made in this Ordinance be expended in making up any insufficiency in any item or items in the same general appropriation fund for the same general purpose. 3. All unexpended balances from the annual appropriation of previous years are hereby reappropriated. Section 3. In case of a vacancy in any office specified in this Ordinance, the Village Manager shall not be required to fill such office if, in his judgment or discretion, there is no necessity therefor. Section 4. By a vote of 2/3 of the President and Board of Trustees, this Appriopriation Ordinance may be revised by deleting, adding to, changing or creating new objects or purposes for which appropriations have or may be made. No revision of this Appropriation Ordinance shall be made adding to the total amount appropriated unless additional funds have been made available during the fiscal year in the amount the total appropriations are so increased. Section 5. This Appropriation Ordinance is adopted pursuant to procedures set forth in the Illinois Municipal Code, provided any limitations in the Illinois Municipal Code in conflict with this Ordinance shall be not applicable to this Ordinance, pursuant to Section 6 of Article VIS of the Constitution of the State of Illinois. -12- Section 6.
