HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 1540 - 10/12/1982 - ZONING VARIATION/736 BISMARKORDINANCE NO. 1540 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION OF SEC. 3.54 OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE TO PERMIT THE CONSTRUCTION OF A DECK TO BE LOCATED LESS THAN TWENTY (20') FEET FROM THE REAR LOT LINE ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 736 BISMARK COURT (HOWE) WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Elk Grove Village at a public meeting duly called and held according to law considered the question of amending the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Elk Grove Village to permit the construction of a deck less than twenty (20') feet in location from the rear lot line on property located at 736 Bismark Court and legally described hereinafter; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village after having reviewed the recommendation of said Zoning Board of Appeals find and believe that sufficient hardship exists so as to warrant the granting of said variation; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows: Section 1: That Sec. 3.54 of the Zoning Ordinance be and the same is hereby amended to permit the construction of a deck, which deck shall be located less than twenty (20') feet from the rear lot line on property located at 736 Bismark Court and legally described as follows: Lot 21 in Block 6 in Winston Grove Section 22 North being a Subdivision in part of Section 25 and 36, Township 41 North, Range 10, East of the Third Principal Meridian in Cook County, Illinois. Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication according to law. VOTES: AYES: 5 NAYS: 0 ABSENT: 1 APPROVED: Charles J.
