HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 1458 - 5/12/1981 - SPECIAL USE/CENTEX/HAMPTON FARMSORDINANCE NO. 1458 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING AN AMENDED SPECIAL USE PERMIT TO CENTEX HOMES MIDWEST, INC. FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF AN AMENDED PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT IN WINSTON GROVE SECTION 24 WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Elk Grove Village acting as a Zoning Commisssion, has conducted a public hearing duly called and held according to law to consider the question of amending the Special Use Permit for a Planned Unit Development previously granted by the President and Board of Trustees to Centex Homes Midwest, Inc., pursuant to Ordinance 1292, thereby adopting an amended land use plan for the remaining property not yet developed; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, after having considered the recommendation of said Plan Commission, find and believe it to be in the best interest of the Village that said Special Use Permit be amended according to the recommendations of said Plan Commission; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows: Section 1: That Ordinance 1292, duly passed and approved on the 10th day of April 1979, be and the same is hereby amended, in part, by adopting a final land use and zoning plat prepared by Henderson and Bodwell dated March 13, 1981, three (3) copies of which are on file with the Village Clerk of Elk Grove Village, which amended plat is hereby adopted and incorporated herein. Section 2: That that portion of paragraph 5. of Section 2. of Ordinance 1292 which permits the location of detached garages twenty (20') feet from the property line be and the same is hereby deleted for all construction commencing after the date hereof. Section 3: That paragraph 8. of Section 2. of Ordinance 1292 be amended to read as follows: 8. The total development shall consist of the following number of units: a. Units constructed or under construction at the passage of this amending Ordinance: 1. Four,one-story, two-bedroom townhouse units; 2. Twenty two-story two-bedroom townhouse units; 3. Forty,three-bedroom townhouse units. b. Units to be constructed after the passage of this amending Ordinance: 1. Fifty-two townhouse modules, each consisting of a one-story, two-bedroom condominium unit over a one-story, one -bedroom condominium unit. Each condominium unit shall have an attached one car garage and a private entry. 2. Ninety,two-story, two or three-bedroom units. Each Unit shall have an attached one car garage. Section 4: That the remaining Sections and paragraphs of Ordinance 1292 not specifically amended herein shall remain in full force and effect. Section 5: That the Village Clerk is hereby authorized to record a copy of the final land use and zoning plat with the Recorder of Deeds of Cook County, Illinois. Section 6: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication according to law. VOTES: AYES: 6 NAYS: D ABSENT:D APPROVED: Charles J.
