AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 14.337A-2 OF THE
MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE
PERTAINING TO WEIGHT RESTRICTIONS FOR VEHICLES ON
STANLEY STREET
BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and Du Page, Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That Section 14.337A-2 of the Municipal Code be and the
same is hereby amended to read as follows:
"It shall be unlawful for any person to operate
a motor vehicle, except a public passenger
vehicle, in excess of twelve (12) tons on
Oakton Street between Arlington Heights Road
and Stanley Street, and on Landmeier Road
between Arlington Heights Road and Tonne
Road".
Section 2: Any person, firm or corporation violating any of the
provisions of this Ordinance shall be subject to a fine of not less than
$200.00 nor more than $500.00 for each offense.
Section 3: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage, approval and publication according to law.
