AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 23.903 OF ARTICLE IX (FIRE LANES)
OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE BY
ADDING DESIGNATED FIRE LANES FOR THE ROHLWING GROVE SHOPPING
CENTER (PHASE II)
WHEREAS, Leo N. Lenaghan owner, and Arthur Rubloff & Company managing
agents, of the Rohlwing Grove Shopping Center have requested of the Village
in writing that certain areas within their respective development be de-
signated as fire lanes, a copy of said requests being attached hereto and
incorporated herein as Exhibit "A" of this Ordinance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and Du Page, Illinois.
Section 1: That Section 23.903, Lane Designations, of the Municipal
Code of the Village of Elk Grove Village be and the same is hereby amended
by adding tF reto the following:
T. Rohlwing Grove Shopping Center:
All areas designated as fire lanes on
a map entitled "Rohlwing Grove Shopping
Center", which map is incorporated by
reference as a part of Ordinance No.
1467
Section 2: That owner or owners of the property where the above signs
are to be located are hereby directed to install and maintain said signs
subject to the approval of the Chief of the Fire Department of the Village
of Elk Grove Village.
Section 3: Any person, firm or corporation who violates any provisions
of this Ordinance shall be subject to a fine of not less than Ten ($10.00)
Dollars nor more than Two Hundred ($200.00) Dollars for each offense.
Section 4: That the Village Clerk is hereby authorized to publish
this Ordinance in Pamphlet Form.
Section 5: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage, approval and publication according to law.

PASSED this 14th day of July 1981.
