AN ORDINANCE AMENDING PARAGRAPH A. OF
SECTION 18.1504, REGULATIONS, OF ARTICLE
XV, AUTOMATIC FOOD - BEVERAGE VENDING
MACHINES OF CHAPTER 18 OF THE MUNICIPAL
CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE
BY ADOPTING THEREIN THE 1978 VENDING OF
FOOD AND BEVERAGES ORDINANCE
BE IT ORDAINED, by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and
DuPage, Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That Sec. 18.1504 A. of the Municipal
Code be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
A. The Village of Elk Grove Village does hereby adopt
by reference "the vending of food and beverages" sanitation
ordinance and code, 1978 edition as recommended by the
United States Department of Health, Education and Welfare
as its Ordinance and Code governing the regulation of
Automatic Food/Beverage Vending Machines except insofar as
specific provisions of this Article contradict same. The
Village Clerk shall retain three (3) copies of this said
Code at the Village Hall as provided by law.
e.;:':io:i 2: Any person, firm or corporation violating
any of the provisions of this Ordinance shall be subject
to a fine of not less than Twenty-five ($25.00) Dollars nor
more than Five Hundred ($500.00) Dollars for each offense
and a separate offense shall be deemed committed on each
day during or on which a violation occurs or continues.
Section 3: That this Ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication
according to law.
