HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 1482 - 9/22/1981 - ZONING VARIATION/901 & 941 GREENLEAFORDINANCE NO. 1482 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE TO PERMIT THE CONSTRUCTION OF AN INTER -CONNECTING PASSAGE -WAY FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 901 and 941 GREENLEAF AVENUE, ELK GROVE VILLAGE (INDUSTRIAL HARD CHROME, INC.) WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Elk Grove Village at a public hearing duly called and held according to law considered the question of granting a variation of the Zoning Ordinance to permit the construction of as inter -connecting passage -way between Lots located at 901 and 941 Greenleaf Avenue, and legally described herein- after; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees after having considered the recommendation of said Zoning Board of Appeals, find and believe that sufficient hardship exists so as to warrant the issuance of said variation; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows: Section 1: That there be granted a variation of Section 5.1, Dimensions, Bulk and Area Regulations for All Zoning Districts, as same pertains to side yard requirements, to Industrial Hard Chrome, Inc., and LaSalle National Bank as Trustee under Trust No. 101252 to permit the construction of an inter -connecting passage -way between Lots 1 and 2 located at 901 and 941 Greenleaf Avenue, respectively, and legally described as follows: Lot 41 in Greenleaf Building Associates Resubdivision, being a resubdivision of Lot 214 in Centex Industrial Park Unit No. 3, being a subdivision in Section 34 Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian in Cook County, Illinois and Lot #2 in Greenleaf Building Associates Resubdivision, Being a Resubdivision of Lot 214 in Centex Industrial Park Unit No. 3, being a subdivision in Section 34, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian in Cook County, Illinois subject to the condition that should there be a conveyance of either Lot 41 or Lot #2 or both, to such effect that said Lots are not under common ownership either legal or equitable, then and in that event this variation shall automatically terminate. Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication according to law. VOTES: AYES: 6 NAYS: 0 ABSENT: 0 APPROVED: Charles J.
