AN ORDINANCE AMENDING PARAGRAPH D OF SECTION 14.514, HANDICAPPED
PARKING, OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VIL-
LAGE AS IT PERTAINS TO DESIGNATED HANDICAPPED PARKING LOCATIONS
BE IT ORDAINED by the President and the Board of Trustees of the Village
of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows:
Section l: That Paragraph "D" of Section 14.514, Handicapped Parking,
be in the same is hereby amended by adding thereto the following:
D. The following areas are hereby designated
as handicapped parking locations:
1. Two parking spaces in the parking
lot of the Municipal Building, 901
Wellington Avenue.
2. Elk Grove High School
500 W. Elk Grove Boulevard
3• Midway Motor Lodge
1600 Oakton Street
4. Eagle Apartments (Eagles On Tonne)
420 Eagle Drive
5. Elk Grove Park District
499 Biesterfield Road
6. Village on -the Lake Condominiums
700; 720, 840, 850 and 898 Wellington Avenue
7. Elk Grove Mental Health Center
1022 Rohlwing Road
8. Terrace Apartments
912 Ridge Square
9. Elk Grove Township/Community Center
711 Chelmsford Lane
10. Rohlwing Grove Apartments
1025, 1029 and 1037 Charlela Lane
1041 and 1045 Nerge Road
Section 2: All designated handicapped parking stalls shall be posted
with signs approved by the Chief of Police and shall be purchased, installed
and maintained by the owners of the property where said signs are located.
Section 3: Any person, firm or corporation who violates any provisions
of this Ordinance shall be subject to a fine of not less than Ten ($10.00)
Dollars nor more than Two Hundred ($200.00) Dollars for each offense.
Section 4: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage, approval and publication according to law.
