AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 23.903 OF ARTICLE IX (FIRE LANES)
OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GORVE VILLAGE BY
AMENDING DESIGNATED FIRE LANES FOR THE ROHLWING GROVE SHOPPING
CENTER (PHASE II) AS IT PERTAINS TO STACKING SPACE
WHEREAS, Leo N. Lenaghan owner of the Rohlwing Grove Shopping Center
has requested an amendment to Ordinance No. 1467 Exhibit "A" of the
Municipal Code as it relates to stacking space.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and Du Page, Illinois.
Section 1: That Section 23.903, Lane Designations, of the Municipal
Code of the Village of Elk Grove Village be and the same in hereby amended
to read as follows:
T. Rohlwing Grove Shopping Center:
All areas designated as fire lanes on
a map entitled "Rohlwing Grove Shopping
Center", which map is incorporated by
reference as a part of Ordinance No.
1467, Exhibit "A" amended by Ord. No.
1494 to allow stacking
space fronting the day care center.
Section 2: That owner or owners of the property where signs for the
"allow stacking space" are to be located are hereby directed to install and
maintain said signs subject to the approval of the Chief of the Fire Department
of the Village of Elk Grove Village.
Section 3: Any person, firm or corporation who violates any provisions
of this Ordinance shall be subject to a fine of not less than Ten ($10.00)
Dollars nor more than Two Hundred ($200.00) Dollars for each offense.
Section 4: That the Village Clerk is hereby authorized to publish this
Ordinance in Pamphlet Form.
Section 5: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage, approval and publication according to law.
