AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1395
BY EXTENDING THE TIME OF THE SPECIAL USE
PERMIT PREVIOUSLY GRANTED TO THE NORTHERN
ILLINOIS DISTRICT OF THE LUTHERAN CHURCH -
MISSOURI SYNOD
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Elk Grove Village pursuant to Ordinance No. 1395
granted a two (2) year special use permit to the Northern
Illinois District of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod for
the operation of two (2) modular units to be used as temporary
church facilities; and
WHEREAS, the permittee has requested that said permit
extend an additional three (3) years due to additional costs
incurred by said permittee; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission members and all
persons who were present at the public hearing before the
Planning Commission were advised of this request and no
objections were raised as a result of said notice;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the President and
Board of. Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties
of Cook and DuPage, Illinois, as follows:
Section 1: That the special use permit granted to
Northern Illinois District of the Lutheran Church - Missouri
Synod for a period of two (2) years to permit the placement
of two (2) modular units to be used for church facilities be
extended for an additional three (3) year period on property
located across from Adolph Link School at the intersection of
Glenn Trail and Biesterfield Road and legally described
as follows:
Lot 5206 in Elk Grove Village Section 17, being a
subdivision in Sections 25 and 26, Township 41 North,
Range 10, East of the Third Principal Meridian, in
Cook County, Illinois.
Section 2: That this special use permit extension is
subject to the same terms and conditions as set forth in Ordinance
No. 1395 except that this permit shall automatically expire
five (5) years from the adoption date of that Ordinance, to
wit,August 12, 1985.
Section 3: That this Ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication
according to law.
