AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 5.001 OF CHAPTER 5 POLICE
DEPARTMENT OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE BY CREATING SIXTY-FOUR
(64) AUTHORIZED POSITIONS OF POLICE OFFICERS
BE IT ORDAINED, by the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois, as
follows:
Section l: That Section 5.001 of the Municipal Code of the Village
of Elk Grove Village is hereby amended by establishing sixty-four (64)
full time Police Officers and deleting therefrom the sixty-three (63)
Officers previously designated therein.
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after is passage and approval according to law.
VOTES: AYES: 5
NAYS: 0
ABSENT: 1
PASSED this 16th day of December 1980.
