HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 1439 - 2/24/1981 - PROHIBITING IMPROPER EXHIBITIONSORDINANCE NO. 1439 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 18.1205 AND SECTIONS 18.1804 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE BY PRO- HIBITING IMPROPER EXHIBITIONS IN RESTAURANTS AND LIQUOR ESTABLISHMENTS BE IT ORDAINED, by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois, as follows: Section 1: That Section 18.1205 pertaining to restrictions of liquor licensees be amended by adding thereto a new para- graph and that Section 18.1804 pertaining to regulations for restaurant licensees be amended by adding thereto a new paragraph both of said paragraphs to read as follows: 18.1205(f) Improper Exhibitions. 18.1804(o) It shall be unlawful for any person to perform, or for any licensee or manager or agent of the licensee to permit any employee, entertainer or patron to engage in any live act, demonstration, dance, or exhibition on the licensed premises which: (1) Exposes his or her genitals, pubic hair, buttocks, perineum, anal region or pubic hair region; or (2) Exposes any device, costume or covering which gives the appearance of or simulates genitals, pubic hair, buttocks, perineum, anal region or pubic hair region; or (3) Exposes any portion of the female breast at or below the aerola thereof. Section 2: Any person, firm or corporation who violates any of the provisions of this Ordinance shall be subject to a fine of not less than Twenty -Five ($25.00) Dollars nor more than Five Hundred ($500.00) Dollars for each offense. Section 3: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after ics passage, rpproval and publication according to law. VOTES: AYES: 5 NAYS: 6 ABSENT: 0 APPROVED: Charles J.
