AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE 1240
AND 1252 BY EXTENDING THE TIME IN
WHICH ALL NECESSARY PARTIES TO THE
SCHMIDT ANNEXATION MUST SIGN THE
PRE -ANNEXATION AGREEMENT FROM
OCTOBER 31, 1978 TO NOVEMBER 15, 1978
BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and Du Page, Illinois,
as follows:
Section 1: That Sections 2, 3, 4 and 7 of Ordinance No. 1240, which
Sections refer to the date of October 3, 1978, as the date in which
the Pre -Annexation Agreement and Ordinance shall be effective, and
later amended to read October 31, 1978 by Ordinance No. 1252, be and
the same are further amended so that the effective date shall be
November 15, 1978.
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and publication according
to law.
