AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NOS.
1240, 1252 and 1259, BY EXTENDING THE
TIME IN WHICH ALL NECESSARY PARTIES
TO THE SCHMIDT ANNEXATION MUST SIGN
THE PRE -ANNEXATION AGREEMENT FROM
NOVEMBER 15, 1978 TO JANUARY 24, 1979
BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and Du Page, Illinois,
as follows:
Section 1: That Sections 2, 3, 4 and 7 of Ordinance No. 1240, which
Sections refer to the date of October 3, 1978, as the date in which the
Pre -Annexation Agreement and Ordinance shall be effective, and later
amended to read October 31, 1978 by Ordinance No. 1252, and November 15,
1978 by Ordinance No. 1259, be and the same are further amended so
that the effective date shall be January 24, 1979.
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage, approval and publication according to law.
