AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NOS.
1240, 1252, 1259 AND 1261, BY
EXTENDING THE TIME IN WHICH ALL
NECESSARY PARTIES TO THE SCHMIDT
ANNEXATION MUST SIGH THE PRE -ANNEXATION
AGREEMENT FROM JANUARY 24, 1979 TO
MARCH 1, 1979
BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of
the Village of Elk Grove Village, Cook and Du Page Counties, Illinois,
as follows:
Section 1: That Sections 2, 3, 4 and 7 of Ordinance No.
1240, which Sections refer to the date of October 3, 1978, as the
date in which the Pre -Annexation Agreement and Ordinance shall be
effective, and later amended to read October 31, 1978, by Ordinance
No. 1252, and November 15, 1978 by Ordinance No. 1259, and
January 24, 1979 by Ordinance No. 1261, be and the same are further
amended so that the effective date shall be March 1, 1979.
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage, approval, and publication
according to law.
