AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 14.311A
NO RIGHT TURN AND 14.311C RIGHT TURN
ONLY OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE THEREBY
REGULATING TRAFFIC AT THE INTERSECTIONS
OF THE EAST AND WEST DRIVEWAYS OF THE
PARK AND SHOP SHOPPING CENTER AND
HIGGINS ROAD (LITTLE HIGGINS/FRONTAGE)
BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois
as follows:
Section 1: That Section 14.311A No Right Turn formerly
rescinded by Ordinance No; 948, be and the same is hereby reinstated
to read as follows:
14.311A No Right Turn. It shall be unlawful for the
operator of any motor vehicle to turn right at any
of the following locations:
(a) No operator of any vehicle traveling west-
bound on Higgins Road (Little Higgins/
Frontage) shall be permitted to make a
right hand turn at the intersection of
Higgins Road (Little Higgins/Frontage) and
the east driveway of the Park and Shop
Shopping Center.
Section 2: That Section 14.311C Right Turn Only of the Muni-
cipal Code of the Village of Elk Grove Village, be and the same is
hereby amended by adding thereto the following:
(c) Vehicles traveling northbound on the east
driveway of the Park and Shop Shopping
Center at its intersection with Higgins
Road (Little Higgins/Frontage) and Route
72.
(d) Vehicles traveling northbound on the west
driveway of the Park and Shop Shopping
Center at its intersection with Higgins
Road (Little Higgins/Frontage) and Route
72.
Section 3: Any person, firm or corporation violating any of
the provisions of this Ordinance shall be subject to a fine of not
less than ten ($10.00) dollars nor more than two hundred ($200.00)
dollars for each offense.
Section 4: That this ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and publication according
to law.
