AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 23.903
OF ARTICLE 9 (LANE DESIGNATIONS) AS
IT PERTAINS TO ESTABLISHED FIRE LANES
BY ADDING THERETO THE DEVON HOUSE
RESTAURANT PROPERTY
WHEREAS, the owners of the Devon House Restaurant have
submitted a site plan to the Village which site plan was
a part of a special use permit granted said order pursuant
to Ordinance No. 1127 duly adopted and approved on March
22, 1977; and whereas said site plan establishes certain
designated areas located thereon as fire lanes and the owner
has requested that the Village of Elk Grove Village adopt an
Ordinance making it unlawful to park in said designated fire
lanes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board
of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of
Cook and Du Page, Illinois, as follows:
Section 1: That Section 23.903 designated fire lanes
of the Municipal Code of Elk Grove Village be and the same is
hereby amended by adding thereto the following:
R. Devon House Restaurant. All areas designated as
fire lanes on a site plan for the Devon House Restaurant,
which site plan was incorporated by reference as a part
of Ordinance No. 1127.
Section 2: That any person, firm, or corporation violating
any of the provisions of this Ordinance shall be subject to a
fine of not less than Five ($5.00) Dollars nor more than Two
Hundred ($200.00) Dollars for every offense.
Section 3: This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and publication
according to law.
