AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 5.81,
AMENDED PERMITTED USES IN THE I-1
(RESTRICTED INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT)
OF THE ELK GROVE VILLAGE ZONING
ORDINANCE BY AMENDING THE DEFINITION
OF NONFERROUS FOUNDRIES
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission, sitting as the Zoning Board,
has heretofore held a public hearing, pursuant to prior published
notice, to consider the proposed amendment of the definition
of nonferrous foundries in Section 5.81 of the Elk Grove Village
Zoning Ordinance; and
WHEREAS, said Commission was filed with the President and
Board of Trustees of the Village a written recommendation regard-
ing said proposal, which recommendation has been reviewed and
concurred with by the President and Board of Trustees:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the President and Board
of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Cook and DuPage
Counties, Illinois, as follows:
Section 1: That Section 5.81 of the Elk Grove Village
Zoning Ordinance be and is hereby amended so that the definition
therein of nonferrous foundries reads as follows:
336 Nonferrous foundries, except for those
aluminum casting operations employing permanent
molds exclusively, the low pressure casting
process and electric furnaces.
Section 2: That the Village Clerk be and is hereby directed
to publish this Ordinance in pamphlet form.
Section 3: That any person, firm or corporation violating
any provision hereof shall be subject to a fine of not less than
Five ($5.00) Dollars nor more than Five Hundred ($500.00) Dollars
and each separate day that a violation exists or continues shall
be deemed a separate violation hereof.
Section 4: That this Ordinance shall be in full force
and effect after its passage, approval and publication according
to law.
