HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 1293 - 4/10/1979 - REZONING/VALE DEVELOPMENT/7 11ORDINANCE NO. 1293 AN ORDINANCE REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY WITHIN THE VILLAGE FROM R-3, SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL, TO B-2, GENERAL BUSINESS (VALE DEVELOPMENT COMPANY/7-11) WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the Village of Elk Grove acting as a Zoning Commission, conducted a public hearing duly called and held according to law, to consider the question of rezoning certain property legally described here- inafter from R-3, Residential, to B-2, General Business; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, after having considered the recommendation of said Planning Commission and after considering the recommendation of the Judiciary Planning and Zoning Sub - Committee of the Village find and believe it to be in the best interest of the Village that such rezoning be granted conditioned on development in accordance with the site and landscaping plan attached hereto. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of theVillage of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows: Section 1: That the following property be and the same is hereby rezoned from R-3, Residential, to B-2, General Business, subject to said property being developed in accordance with the site and landscaping plan attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein: That part of the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 36, Township 41 North, Range 10, East of the Third Principal Meridian, described as follows: Beginning at a pointin the North line of the Northwest Quarter of the South- west Quarter of Section 36, aforesaid 259.37 feet westerly of the Northeast corner thereof; thence easterly along said north line 259.37 feet to the Northeast corner of the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 36 aforesaid; thence southerly along the east line of the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section36 aforesaid 250.38 feet to the south line of the North 250.0 feet (measured at right angles) of the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 36 aforesaid; thence westerly along said South line 266.52 feet to a point; thence Northerly 250.88 feet to the point of beginning, in Cook County, Illinois. Section 2: That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to amend the zoning map of the Village to reflect the above rezoning. Section 3: That the Village Clerk is further authorized to public this ordinance in pamphlet form. I Section 4: That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication according to law.
