AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 1356
PROHIBITING VEHICLES FROM MAKING LEFT TURNS
FROM HALO DRIVE INTO BUSSE ROAD AND AMENDING
SECTION 14.311C OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE TO
REQUIRE A RIGHT TURN ONLY AT THE ABOVE INTERSECTION
BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and
DuPage, Illinois, as follows:
Section 1: That Ordinance No. 1356 adopted February
12, 1980, which Ordinance prohibits vehicles from making left
turns from Halo Drive into Busse Road be and the same is hereby
repealed.
Section 2: That Section 14.311C, Right Turn Only, of
the Municipal Code of the Village of Elk Grove Village be and
the same is hereby amended by adding thereto the following:
(e) Vehicles travelling Eastbound on Halo Drive at
its intersection with Busse Road between the
hours of 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.
Section 3: That Section 14.801, the General Penalty
Section for Chapter 14 of the Municipal Code be and the same
is hereby amended to read as follows:
14.801 - Any person, firm, or corporation violating any
provision of this Chapter shall be fined not less than Ten
($10.00) Dollars nor more than Two Hundred ($200.00) Dollars
for each offense, unless a different penalty is established
for the violation charged.
Section 4: Any person, firm or corporation violating
any provisions of this Ordinance shall be subject to a fine
of not less than Ten ($10.00) Dollars nor more than Two Hundred
($200.00) Dollars for each offense.
Section 5: That this Ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication
according to law.
