AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 23.905
THEREBY AMENDING THE MINIMUM PENALTY
APPLICABLE FOR FIRE LANE PARKING
VIOLATIONS
BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and
DuPage, Illinois, as follows:
Section 1: That Section 23.905 of the Municipal Code
of the Village of Elk Grove Village, which Section provides
a penalty for fire lane parking violations, be and the same
is hereby amended to read as follows:
23.905 Any person violating any provisions of
this Article shall be fined not less than Ten ($10.00)
Dollars nor more than Two Hundred ($200.00) Dollars
for each offense.
Section 2: That Section 24A.101 of the Municipal Code
of the Village of Elk Grove Village be amended by adding in
Paragraph B. thereof the following:

Section 3: Any person, firm or corporation violating
any of the provisions of this Ordinance shall be subject to
a fine of not less than Ten ($10.00) Dollars nor more than
Two Hundred ($200.00) Dollars for each offense.
Section 4: This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and publication
according to law.
