AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A ONE HUNDRED FIFTY (130')
SQUARE FOOT VARIATION OF THE SIDE ORDINANCE
(ORDINANCE NO.388) TO THE BONGI GROUP, INC.,
TO PERMIT THE CONSTRUCTION OF A DOUBLE -SIDED,
FREE STANDING SIGN WITH A TOTAL AREA OF ONE
HUNDRED SIXTY (160') SQ[IARE FEET
WHEREAS, the Bongi Group, Inc., have requested of the President
and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village a varia-
tion of Ordinance No. 388 to permit a double -sided, free standing
sign with a total area of One Hundred Sixty (160') square feet
to advertise the sale of single-family homes in the Circle Bay
Subdivision; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Elk Grove Village find and believe that sufficient hardship
exists so as to warrant the granting of said variation;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board
of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of
Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That there be granted a One Hundred Fifty (150')
square foot variation of the Side Ordinance (Ordinance No. 388)
to the Bongi Group, Inc., to permit the construction of a One
Hundred Sixty (1601) square foot double -sided, free standing sign
to permit the advertising of the Circle Bay Subdivision. The
variation shall be for a period of one (1) year and shall terminate
one (1) year from the date of this Ordinance.
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval according to law.
