HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 1392 - 8/12/1980 - ZONING VARIATION/BONAVENTURE DRORDINANCE N0. 1392 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION TO PERMIT THE CONSTRUCTION OF A SEVENTY- TWO (72') FOOT SIX (6") INCH HIGH BUILDING AND A SIXTY (60') FOOT HIGH BUILDING LOCATED ON BONAVENTURE DRIVE, NORTH OF DEVON AVENUE AND EAST OF ROHLWING ROAD IN ELK GROVE VILLAGE WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Elk Grove Village, at a public meeting duly called and held according to law, considered the question of granting a varia- tion of Section 5.1, Dimension Bulk and Area Regulations for all Zoning Districts, of the Zoning Ordinance as it pertains to maximum building height limitations in B-2 Zoning Districts to the River Forest State Bank and Trust Company as Trustee under Trust Agreement dated November 18, 1970, and known as Trust No. 1688, Owners of Record, and S & B Associates as Petitioner, for property located on Bonaventure Drive, north of Devon Avenue and east of Rohlwing Road in Elk Grove Village; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, after having considered the recommendation of said Zoning Board of Appeals, find and believe that a hardship exists so as to warrant the issuance of such variation; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois, as follows: Section 1: That there be granted a variation for the construction of a five (5) story building with a nine (9') foot penthouse for equipment, for a total height of seventy-two (721) feet, six (6") inches, and the construction of a four (4) story building with a nine (9') foot penthouse for equipment for a total height of sixty (60') feet to River Forest State Bank and Trust Company as Trustee under Trust Agreement dated November 18, 1970, and known as Trust No. 1688, Owners of Record, and S & B associates as Petitioner, on property located at Bonaventure Drive, north of Devon avenue and east of Rohlwing Road in Elk Grove Village, and legally described as follows: Parcel 1: Lots 8 and 9 in Rohlwing Grove Unit No. 4, being a subdivision of part of the south 1/2 of Section 31, Township 41 North, Range 11, east of the Third Principal Meridian in Cook County, Illinois. Parcel 2: Lots 2 and 3 in Rohlwing Grove Unit No. 4, being a subdivision of part of the south 1/2 of Section 31, Township 41 North, Range 11, east of the Third Principal Meridian in Cook County, Illinois. Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication according to law. VOTES: AYES: 6 NAYS: 0 ABSENT: 0 APPROVED: Charles J.
