HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 1395 - 8/12/1980 - SPECIAL USE/ LUTHERAN CHURCHORDINANCE NO. 1395 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SPECIAL USE PERMIT TO THE NORTHERN ILLINOIS DISTRICT OF THE LUTHERAN CHURCH - MISSOURI SYNOD TO PERMIT THE PLACE- MENT OF TWO MODULAR UNITS ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT THE INTERSECTION OF GLENN TRAIL AND BIESTERFIELD ROAD, ELK GROVE VILLAGE WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the Village of Elk Grove Village acting as a Zoning Commission conducted a public hearing to consider the question of granting a special use permit for the operation of two (2) modular units to be used as temporary church facilities to the Northern Illinois District of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod for property located at the intersection of Glenn Trail and Biesterfield Road, Elk Grove Village, and legally described hereinafter; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village after having considered the recommendation of said Planning Commission find and believe it to be in the best interest of the Village that said special use permit be granted; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows: Section 1: That there be granted a special use permit to the Northern Illinois District of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod to permit the placement of two (2) modular units to be used for church facilities on property located across from Adolph Link School at the intersection of Glenn Trail and Biesterfield Road and legally described as follows: Lot 5206 in Elk Grove Village Section 17, being a subdivision in Sections 25 and 26, Township 41 North, Range 10, East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois. i This special use is subject to the following conditions: 1. The location of the modular units and landscaping relating thereto shall be as set forth in the final site plan for said subject property, a copy of which is on file in the office of the Village Clerk. 2. The special use permit as granted herein shall be for a period of two (2) years and shall automatically expire two (2) years from the adoption of this ordinance. 3. Prior to construction of the permanent church facility, the petitioner shall submit to the Planning Commission and President and Board of Trustees an acceptable site plan. Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication according to law. VOTES: AYES: 6 NAYS: 0 ABSENT: 0 ATTEST: Fay M.
