ORDINANCE DECLARING THE NECESSITY AND
CONVENIENCE OF THE CONVEYANCE OF CERTAIN
PROPERTY LOCATED IN ELK GROVE VILLAGE
FROM THE ELK GROVE PARK DISTRICT TO
ELK GROVE VILLAGE
WHEREAS, the Village of Elk Grove Village and the Elk
Grove Park District are municipalities as defined in "an act
in relation to a transfer of interests in real estate by units
of local government or school districts, approved July 2,
1925" (Chapter 30, Section 156, Illinois Revised Statutes);
and
WHEREAS, the Elk Grove Park District is the owner of a
parcel of land for which it has no further use, and which is
described in Section 2 hereof; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary and convenient for the property
to be conveyed to the Village of Elk Grove Village for use in
connection with a residential lift station.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the President and Board
of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Cook and DuPage
Counties, State of Illinois, as follows:
Section 1: That it is necessary and convenient for the
Village of Elk Grove Village to use and occupy the real estate
described in Section 2 hereof for Village purposes in connection
with the residential lift station.
Section 2: That the Village of Elk Grove Village accept
conveyance of the following described parcel from the Elk Grove
Park District, subject to conditions and covenants of record:
The North 15.50 feet of the South 75.50 feet of
the•East 85.50 feet of the North 210.50 feet and
the East 5.50 feet of the West 210.50 feet of the
South 60.0 feet of Lot 1460 in Elk Grove Village
Section 4, being a subdivision in the South Half
of Section 28 and the North Half of Section 33,
Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third
Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois.
Section 3: That the Village President and Village Clerk be
and are hereby directed to take such steps and execute such
documents as is necessary to implement this transfer.
Section 4: That this Ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its date of passage and approval
according to law.
