HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 1303 - 5/22/1979 - ZONING VARIATION/2000 ARTHUR AVEP ORDINANCE NO. 1303 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION OF THE REAR YARD SETBACK REQUIREMENTS TO ALDEN PRESS, INC., FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 2000 ARTHUR AVENUE, ELK GROVE VILLAGE WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals at a public meeting duly called and held according to law considered the question of granting a variation of the rear yard setback requirements of the zoning ordinance of the Village of Elk Grove Village to Alden Press, Inc., on the property located at 2000 Arthur Avenue, Elk Grove Village and legally described hereinafter; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village after having considered the recommendation of said Zoning Board of Appeals find and believe that a hardship exists so as to warrant the issuance of such variation. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DUPage, Illinois as follows: Section 1: That there be granted a variation of Article 5, Section 5.1 of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Elk Grove Village as it pertains to rear yard requirements in the I-2, General Industrial District, to the Alden Press, Inc., and Lake Shore National Bank as Trustee under Land Trust No. 2440 to permit an addition to an existing building thereby permitting the setback to be ten (10) feet on property located at 2000 Arthur Avenue, Elk Grove Village and legally described as follows: Lots 195, 196, 197, 198 and the West 40 feet of Lot 199 in Centex Industrial Park, Unit 18, being a subdivision in Section 35, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian in Cook County, Illinois. Section 2: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication according to law.
