ORDINANCE NO. 1311
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 14.511
RESTRICTIONS ON PARKING IN THE INDUSTRIAL
AREA IN ELK GROVE VILLAGE
BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois
as follows:
Section 1: That Section 14.511 of the Municipal Code, presently
titled "Restrictions on Parking in the Industrial Area in Elk Grove
Village", be and the same are hereby amended to read as follows:
14.511 Restrictions and Prohibitions on Parking in the
Industrial Area in Elk Grove Village.
A. Restrictions on Parking. Unless otherwise provided for
hereinafter, parking of automobiles and other vehicles
is limited to two hours on all days of the week from
7 a.m to 7 p.m. and prohibited from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. on
the following enumerated streets:
1. All streets and roads east of Busse Road.
2. All streets and roads east of Tonne Road (also known as
Wood Dale Road) and south of Landmeier Road.
3. All streets and roads north of Higgins Road.
4. All streets and roads east of Lively Boulevard, west
of Busse Road, north of Landmeier Road and south of
Higgins Road.
5. Bonnie Lane.
6. Kent Avenue.
7. Howard Street, west of Lively Boulevard.
B. Prohibited Parking. It shall be unlawful for any person,
firm or corporation to permit any vehicle to stand or be
parked in any of the following places:
1. On the south side of Pauly, Brummel, Howard; Louis,
Jarvis, Fargo, Chase, Touhy (between Tonne Road and
Busse Road), Estes (between Touhy Ave. and Busse Road),
Greenleaf (between Tonne Road and Elmhurst Road), Lunt
(between Tonne Road and Busse Road), Morse, Pratt,
Arthur, Coyle, and Mark.
2. On the north side of Bennett, Lee, Criss Circle,
Commerce, Kirk, Touhy (between Busse and Higgins),
Estes (between Busse and Elmhurst), Greenleaf (between
Elmhurst and Carmen), Lunt (between Busse and Elmhurst),
and Pan Am.
3. On the east side of Joey, Kent, Bonnie, Lively, Crossen,
Seegers, McCabe, Nicholas, Carmen, Brickvale, United,
American, and Delta.
4. On the west side of Martin, Bond, Scott, King, Gaylord,
Gordon, Kelly, Randall, Chase (between 1500 block and
Touhy), Carl, Katherine, Nicholas (between Higgins and
Landmeier), and Elmhurst.
Section 2: Any person, firm or corporation violating any of the
provisions of this Ordinance shall be subject to a fine of not less
than five dollars ($5.00) nor more than two hundred dollars ($200.00)
for each offense.
Section 3: That the Chief of Police or his designated agents
is hereby authorized to post the above designated streets to
prohibit parking as provided for herein.
Section 4: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval and publication according
to law and be effective as of October 1, 1979.
