AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 15.002 VEHICLE
LICENSE OF CHAPTER 15 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE
BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois
as follows:
Section 1: That Section 15.002 Licenses of Chapter 15 Vehicle
Licenses be.4nd the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
Every owner and operator of a motor vehicle or motor bicycle
who resides within the Village and every owner or operator
of a motor vehicle or motor bicycle registered to a
business within the Village shall pay each year to the Clerk
a tax or license fee for the use of each motor vehicle or
motor bicycle used on any public street within the Village,
as is hereinafter provided.
Section 2: Any person, firm or corporation who violates any
of the provisions of this ordinance shall be subject to such fine
as is set forth in Section 15.009 of the Municipal Code of the
Village of Elk Grove Village.
Section 3: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and publication
according to law.
