AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SPECIAL USE
PERMIT TO THE ELK GROVE PRESBYTERIAN
CHURCH TO PERMIT THE OPERATION OF A
NOT FOR PROFIT DAY CARE CENTER AND
PRESCHOOL AT 600 EAST ELK GROVE
BOULEVARD, ELK GROVE VILLAGE
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Elk Grove
Village acting as a Zoning Commission conducted a public hearing
to consider the question of granting a Special Use permit for the
operation of a not for profit day care center and preschool to
the Elk Grove Presbyterian Church at property located at 600 East
Elk Grove Boulevard, Elk Grove Village; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of
Elk Grove Village after having considered the recommendation of said
Plan Commission find and believe it to be in the best interest of
the Village that said Special Use permit be granted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook
and DuPage, Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That there be granted a Special Use permit to the
Elk Grove Presbyterian Church to permit the operation of a not for
profit day care center and preschool at 600 East Elk Grove Boulevard,
Elk Grove Village, subject to the following conditions:
1. The permitee must be licensed with the Village as
a day care center and thereby be in compliance with the
requirements of the Village Building, Fire and Health
Departments relating to said use.
2. The manager and staff of said day care center shall
be experienced in the care of preschool aged children.
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and publication
according to law.
