AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 5.1 OF THE
ZONING ORDINANCE (ORDINANCE NO. 842) OF
THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE AS IT
PERTAINS TO MINIMUM SIDE AND REAR YARD
REQUIREMENTS IN THE OFFICE -TRANSITIONAL
ZONED DISTRICT. _
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Elk Grove
Village, acting as a Zoning Commission, at a public hearing duly
called and held according to law considered the question of
amending Section 5.1 of the Zoning Ordinance so as to require
a seventy-five foot (75') side yard and rear yard set back re-
quirement in the Office -Transitional Zoned District when any
lot in said District abuts a residential district; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Elk Grove Village after having considered the recommendation
of said Plan Commission find and believe it to be in the best
interest of the Village that the Zoning Ordinance be amended
in accordance with the recommendation of the Plan Commission;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board
of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of
Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows;
Section 1: That Section 5.1, bulk yard requirements and
regulations of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Elk Grove
Village as it pertains to minimum required side and rear yard
for Office Transitional (B-4) Zoned Districts be and the same
is hereby
amended
to read
as follows:
