ORDINANCE NO. 1344
AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION TO
PERMIT THE CONSTRUCTION OF A FENCE WHICH
WOULD EXTEND TWENTY-THREE (231) FEET INTO
THE REQUIRED TWENTY-FIVE (25') FOOT SET
BACK OF THE SIDE YARD ON PROPERTY LOCATED
AT 1197 GRISSOM TRAIL AT NERGE ROAD, ELK
GROVE VILLAGE, ILLINOIS. (ROMZ)
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Elk
Grove Village, at a public meeting duly called and held according
to law, considered the question of granting a side yard variation
for the construction of a fence that would extend twenty-three
(23') feet into the required twenty-five (25') foot set back of
the side yard under Article 3.51 of the Zoning Ordinance of the
Village of Elk Grove Village to Mr. Raymond F. Romz for property
located at 1197 Grissom Trail at Nerge Road, Elk Grove Village,
Illinois; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of
Elk Grove Village, after having considered the recommendation of
said Zoning Board of Appeals, find and believe that a hardship
exists so as to warrant the issuance of such variation;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook
and DuPage, Illinois, as follows:
Section 1: That there be granted a side yard variation for
the construction of a fence that would extend twenty-three (23')
feet into the required twenty-five (25') foot set back of the side
yard under Article 3.51 of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of
Elk Grove Village to Mr. Raymond F. Romz to permit the construction
of a fence on property located at 1197 Grissom Trail at Nerge Road,
legally described as follows:
Lot 4989 in Elk Grove Village Section 17, being a
subdivision in Sections 25 and 36, Township 41 North,
Range 10, East of the Third Principal Meridian,
Cook County, Illinois.
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and publication according
to law.
