AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN PROPERTY TO
THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE (SAVIN)
WHEREAS, a written petition has been filed with the Village
Clerk of the Village of Elk Grove Village by Lawrence Garlisch,
Arnold Garlisch, Margaret Kirchhoff, Mark Kevin Garlisch,
Pam Garlisch, Mabel Busse, Norma M. Garlisch, and Elvira Garlisch,
being the record owners of the hereinafter described land and
territory, said petition seeking annexation to the Village of
Elk Grove Village; and
WHEREAS, said land and territory is not within the corporate
limits of any municipality, but is contiguous to the Village of
Elk Grove Village, and has no electors residing thereon; and
WHEREAS, any fire protection district, library district,
township road commissioner, or other entity or person entitled
to notice prior to annexation of the subject property has been
given such notice as is required by law; and
WHEREAS, all statutory requirements in reference to the
annexation have been fully complied with and the Village President
and Board of Trustees believe it to be in the best interest of
the Village that said land and territory be annexed thereto;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board
of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Cook and DuPage
Counties, Illinois, as follows:
Section 1: That the following land and territory, which
territory is contiguous to the Village of Elk Grove Village, and
not within the limits of any other municipality, be and the
same is hereby annexed to the Village of Elk Grove Village,
so that said territory be included within the boundary limits
of said Village as is by law in such case made and provided:
That part of the West 1/2 of the Southeast 1/4 of Section
22, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal
Meridian, lying East of the East line of the West 878.00
feet (as measured on a line parallel with the North line
of said Southeast 1/4), North of the Northerly right -o£ -way
line of Higgins Road, and South of the South line of the North
971.00 feet of said West 1/2 of the Southeast 1/4 (as said
line is monumented and occupied) in Cook County, Illinois.
Section 2: That all requisite fees due upon annexation to
the Village of Elk Grove Village have been paid.
Section 3: That said property shall be zoned I-1, Light
Industrial, which zoning is the classification described to the
subject property on the official map of the Village.
Section 4: That the Village Clerk of Elk Grove Village is
directed to record a certified copy of this ordinance, together
with a plat of said territory, with the Recorder of Deeds of
Cook County, Illinois.
Section 5: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval according to law.
