HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 1203 - 2/14/1978 - WATER RESTRICTIONSI,I ORDINANCE NO. 1203 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 22A.801, RESTRICTIONS ON THE USE OF WATER FOR OUTDOOR PURPOSES, OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Cook and DuPage Counties, Illinois as follows: Section 1. That Paragraphs A. and B. of Section 22A.801 be and the same are hereby amended to read as follows: A. All persons who reside or occupy premises designated by a street address with an even number shall be permitted to use water for any outdoor purpose between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. on the even numbered days of the month only. All persons who reside or occupy premises designated by a street address with an odd number shall be permitted to use water for any outdoor purpose between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. on the odd numbered days of the month only. B. All industrial, commercial and institutional properties who occupy premises designated by a street address with an even number shall be permitted to use water for any outdoor purpose between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. on the even numbered days of the month only. All industrial, commercial and institutional properties who occupy premises designated by a street address with an odd number shall be permitted to use water for any outdoor purpose between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. on the odd numbered days of the month only. Section 2. That any person, firm or corporation violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be subject to a fine of not less than $25.00 nor more than $200.00 for each offense and a separate offense shall be deemed committed on each day during or on which a violation occurs or continues. Section 3. Thar this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication according to law. PASSED this 14th day of February , 1978.
