AN ORDINANCE REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY
WITHIN THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE FROM
I-1 TO I-2, GENERALIZED INDUSTRIAL
DISTRICT (ESPER A. PETERSEN)
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Elk Grove Village,
acting as a Zoning Commission, at a public hearing, duly called and
held according to law considered the question of rezoning certain
property within the Village, legally described hereinafter, from
I-1, Restricted Industrial District, to I-2, Generalized Industrial
District; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of
Elk Grove Village, after having considered the recommendation of
said Plan Commission, find and believe it to be in the best interests
of the Village that said property be rezoned to the I-2 District.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, -Counties of Cook and
Du Page, Illinois, as follows:
Section 1: That the following property, presently zoned in
I-1, Restricted Industrial District, be and the same is hereby rezoned
to the I-2, Generalized Industrial District, pursuant to a petition
therefor by the La Salle National Bank, as Trustee, of Trust No.
39270, and Esper A. Petersen:
That part of Lot 14 in Elk Grove Industrial Park
Unit 3, being a Subidivision in Section 3, Township
40 North, Range 11, East of the-Tliird Principal
Meridian, lying North of a Line drawn from a point
on the West line of Lot 14 aforesaid 9.26 feet
South of the Northwest Corner thereof, to a point
on the East Line of Lot 14 aforesaid, 0.34 feet
South of the Northeast Corner thereof, all in
Du Page County, Illinois.
Section 2: That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to amend
the Zoning Map of the Village to reflect the changes as contained
in this Ordinance.
Section 3: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and publication according
to law.
