HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 1217 - 5/9/1978 - ZONING VARIATION/299 FERNORDINANCE NO. /,� 1 7 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A REAR AND SIDE YARD VARIATION TO JOHN AND CONSTANCE NOWAK, TO PERMIT THE CONSTRUCTION OF A ROC -A ADDITION ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 299 FERN DRIVE, ELK GROVE VILLAGE, IL WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals at a public meeting duly called and held according to law considered the question of granting a side and rear yard variation of Section 5.1 of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Elk Grove Village to permit a room addition on property legally described hereinafter; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees, after having considered the recommendation of said Zoning Board of Appeals find and believe that such a hardship exists sufficient to justify the granting of said variation. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and Du Page, Illinois, as follows: Section 1: That there be granted a variation of Section 5.1 of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Elk Grove Village as it applies to residential side and rear yard requirements to permit the construction of a room addition which would reduce the required 20 foot foot rear yard to 16 feet, and the required 5 foot side yard to 3-1/2 feet on property located at 299 Fern Drive, and legally described as follows: Lot 2760 in Elk Grove Village Section 9, being a Subdivision in Section 33, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois. Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and Dublication according to law.
