HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 1221 - 5/23/1978 - BARBER SHOPS/LICENSINGORDINANCE NO. 1221 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 18, ARTICLE III, SECTION 18.301, LICENSE FEES, OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE, OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE, AS IT PERTAINS TO BARBER SHOPS. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois, as follows: SECTION 1: That Chapter 18, Article III, Section 18.301, License Fees, be and the same is hereby amended as follows: That the license fee for Barber Shops be amended to read $5.00 per chair with a minimum fee of $25.00. SECTION 2: That any person, firm or corporation who violates any of the provisions of this Ordinance shall be subject to a fine of not less than Twenty-five ($25.00) Dollars nor more than Five Hundred (500.00) Dollars for each offense; and a separate offense shall be deemed committed on each day during or on which a violation occurs or continues. SECTION 3: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication according to law. PASSED this 23rd day of May , 1978.
