AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 7.702, MEMBERSHIP,
OF THE PLAN COMMISSION, OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE,
OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE
WHEREAS, the Village of Elk Grove Village is a home rule
municipality as defined by the Constitution of the State of Illinois;
and
WHEREAS, the Village of Elk Grove Village is authorized and
empowered to enact such laws and regulations pertaining to its
governmental affairs as is authorized by the Constitution;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and
Du Page, Illinois, as follows:
Section l: That Section 7.702, Membership, of Article 7,
Plan Commission, of the Municipal Code of the Village of Elk Grove
Village, be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
7.702. Membership.
The Plan. Commission shall consist of seven (7)
members, residents of the Village, appointed by the
Village President, by and with the consent of the
Board of Trustees.
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval according to law.
