AN ORDINANCE GRANTING VARIANCE FROM THE
REQUIREMENTS OF SECTION 5.1 OF ELK GROVE
VILLAGE ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 842 FOR
PROPERTY COMMONLY KNOWN AS 79 BOND STREET
ELK GROVE VILLAGE, ILLINOIS
WHEREAS, the owners of property commonly known as 79 Bond
Street, Elk Grove Village, Illinois, which property is legally des-
cribed on the attached Exhibit "A", has heretofore filed a petition
requesting a five (5) foot variance from the terms and provisions of
Section 5.1 of the Elk Grove Village Zoning Ordinance 842 as said
applies to the I-1 zoning classification; and
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals, pursuant to public notice,
conducted a public hearing on June 29, 1978 to consider said petition;
and
WHEREAS, said Zoning Board of Appeals has heretofore filed its
findings of fact and recommendations that said variation be granted with
the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Illinois,as follows:
Section 1: That there be and is hereby granted to property com-
monly known as 79 Bond Street, Elk Grove Village, Illinois, which pro-
perty is legally described on the attached Exhibit "A", a five (5) foot
variance from the requirements of Section 5.1 of Elk Grove Village
Zoning Ordinance 842, so that said property may have a rear yard of
not less than ten (10) feet. That except as varied herein the property
subject hereto shall remain subject to all applicable terms and pro-
visions of the Municipal Code and the Zoning Ordinance of the Village
of Elk Grove Village.
Section 2: Any person, firm or corporation violating any of the
provisions hereof shall be subject to a fine of not less than twenty
($20.00) dollars nor more than five hundred ($500.00) dollars on each
separate day that a violation occurs. Each separate day on which a
violation occurs shall be deemed a separate offence
Section 3: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage, approval and publication according to law.

Lot 23 and the North 308.00 feet of Lot 24 in Higgins Road Commercial
Subdivision, Unit No. 1, being a subdivision in the West half of
Dection 22, Township 41 North, Range Il, East of the Third Principal
Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois, according to the Plat thereof
'recorded in the Office of the Registrar of Title as Document
No. LR1795729 and recorded in the Recorder's Office as Document
No. 17204943.
