AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE SUBDIVISION
CONTROL ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE PER-
TAINING TO STRUCTURES LOCATED IN EASE-
MENTS BY PERMITTING THE CONSTRUCTION
OF A FIREPLACE WITHIN A RECORDED
EASEMENT AREA ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT
1037 ALABAMA. ELK GROVE VILLAGE
WHEREAS, Mr. S. Zimmer has petitioned the President and Board
of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village for a variation from the
Village's Subdivision Control Ordinance to permit the construction of a
fireplace for a portion of his property on which a utility easement
exists; and
WHEREAS, Commonwealth Edison Company, Northern Illinois Gas
Company and the Illinois Bell Telephone Company have filed letters with
the Village saying that they have no objections to the construction of a
fireplace on said designated easement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and
Du Page, Illinois, as follows:
Section 1: That there be granted a variation of the Subdivision
Control Ordinance of the Village of Elk Grove Village to Mr. Stefan Zimmer,
thereby permitting the construction of a fireplace in a designated
easement area on property located at 1037 Alabama, Elk Grove Village,
Illinois, and legally described as follows:
Lot 11 in Block 12 in Winston Grove Section 22
Scuth, being a Subdivision in Sections 35 and 36,
Township 41 North, Range 10, East of the Third
Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois.
Section: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval according to law.
