AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 14.512 OF THE
MUNICIPAL CODE THEREBY PROHIBITING PARKING ON
BOTH SIDES OF GR ENLEAF AVENUE FOR A DISTANCE
OF 305 FEET WEST OF ITS IRIERSECTION WITH BUSSE
ROAD ALSO KNOWN AS IlumiS ROUTE 83.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and Du
Page, Illinois, as follows:
Section 1: That Section 14.512 (Additional No -Parking Streets and
Areas), which Section makes it unlawful to permit any vehicle to stand
in any of the areas listed therein, be and the same is hereby amended by
adding thereto the following:
82. On both sides of Greenleaf Avenue for a distance of
305' west of its intersection with Busse Road, also
known as Illinois State Route 83.
Section 2: Any person, firm or corporation violating any of the
provisions of this ordinance shall be subject to a fine of not less than
Five Dollars ($5.00) nor more than Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00) for each
offense.
Section 3: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage, approval and publication according to law.
