AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION
OF THE SET -BACK REQUIREMENTS OF
THE ZONING ORDINANCE TO JOSEPH T.
RYERSON & SON, INC. TO PERMIT THE
CONSTRUCTION OF AN ADDITIONAL
RAILROAD SIDING ON PROPERTY LOCATED
AT 2180 PRATT BOULEVARD, ELK GROVE
VILLAGE, ILLINOIS.
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals at a public meeting
duly called and held according to law considered the question of
granting a variation to Joseph T. Ryerson & Son, Inc. to permit
the construction of an additional railroad siding within the
required setback on property located at 2180 Pratt Boulevard,
Elk Grove Village, and legally described hereinafter; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Elk Grove Village, after having considered the recommendation
of said Zoning Board of Appeals, find a believe it to be in the
best interest of the Village that such variation be granted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board
of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of
Cook and DuPage, Illinois, as follows:
Section 1: That there be granted a 7 foot variation of
the required 15 foot setback to Joseph T. Ryerson & Son, Inc. in
order to permit the construction of an additional railroad siding
on property located at 2180 Pratt Boulevard, Elk Grove Village
and legally described as follows:
The West 580.80 feet of Lot 12 in Centex Industrial Park
Unit No. 2, being a Subdivision in Section 35, Township
41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian
in Cook County, Illinois.
It being the understanding that the 7 foot variation would thus
leave an 8 foot setback from the North property line.
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and publication
according to law.
