AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 14 OF THE
MUNICIPAL CODE BY LIMITING THE TRAFFIC
ON BIESTERFIELD ROAD FROM HOME AVENUE
WEST TO MEACHUM ROAD TO CONSTRUCTION
VEHICLES ONLY
BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and Du Page, Illinois,
as follows:
Section 1: That Chapter 14 of the Municipal Code of the Village
of Elk Grove Village be and the same is hereby amended by adding thereto
a new Section in Article 2 thereof, which shall read as follows:
14.206B. Access for Construction Vehicles Only.)
It shall be unlawful for the operator of any motor
vehicle, except for a duly authorized construction vehicle,
to operate any vehicle on the following streets.
1. Biesterfield Road from Home Avenue west to
Meachum Road.
Section 2: The Chief of Police or his designated agent shall post
or cause to be posted such signs as are deemed necessary to carry out
the provisions of this Ordinance.
Section 3: Any person, firm or corporation violating any of the
provisions of this Ordinance shall be subject to a fine of not less than
Ten ($10.00) Dollars, nor more than Two Hundred ($200.00) Dollars for
e ch offense.
Section 4: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage, approval and publication according to law.
