AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION OF
THE ZONING ORDINANCE TO MR. AND MRS.
JAMES FROST TO PERMIT THE CONSTRUCTION
OF A DETACHED GARAGE ON PROPERTY LOCATED
AT 1036 MAPLE LANE, ELK GROVE VILLAGE, IL
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Elk Grove
Village, at a public meeting duly called and held according to law,
considered the question of granting a variation to Mr. and Mrs.
James Frost to permit the construction of a detached garage on
property legally described hereinafter; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of
Elk Grove Village, after having considered the recommendation of
said Zoning Board of Appeals, find and believe that such hardship
exists such as to warrant the granting of the variation as requested.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and
Du Page, Illinois, as follows:
Section 1: That there be granted a variation of Section 3.54,
Paragraph B, of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Elk Grove
Village, as it pertains to the minimum distance between a detached
structure and the side lot line, to Mr. and Mrs. James Frost on
property located at 1036 Maple Lane, Elk Grove Village, and legally
described as follows:
Lot 1823 in Elk Grove Village Section 6,
being a Subdivision in the East Half of
Section 33, Township 41 North, Range 11,
East of the Third Principal Meridian
according to the Plat thereof recorded
on January 16, 1959 as Document No. 17429393,
in Cook County, Illinois.
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage, approval and publication according to law.
