AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 23.903
(LANE DESIGNATION) OF ARTICLE IX (FIRE
LANE) OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE
VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE
WHEREAS, the beneficial owner and contract purchaser of certain
property designated as 600/700 Pratt Boulevard, Elk Grove Village, have
requested by letter the establishment of fire lanes on said property,
a copy of that letter being attached hereto as Exhibit A; and
WHEREAS, the location of said fire lanes are contained on Exhibit
B attached hereto, which designations are approved by the Chief of
the Fire Department of the Village;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and
Du Page, Illinois, as follows:
Section 1: That Section 23.903 of the Municipal Code of the
Village of Elk Grove Village which provides for certain 'areas located
in the Village to be designated "fire lanes" and making it unlawful
for any person or vehicle to block or obstruct wholly or partially
any such designated area, be amended by adding thereto the following:
N. 600/700 Pratt Boulevard - All areas designated
as fire lanes on a map incorporated as a part of Ordinance
No. 1122
Section 2: Any person, firm or corporation violating any provisions
of this Ordinance shall be subject to a fine of not less $5.00 nor more
than $200.00 for each offense.
Section 3: That the Village Clerk is hereby authorized to publish
this Ordinance in pamphlet form and the Fire Chief is hereby directed
to post all areas designated as fire lanes with appropriate signs.
Section 4: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and publication according
to law.

Dear Chief Henrici:
The undersigned, Jerome R. Rosenberg and Keith
Krueger, being the beneficial owner and contract purchaser,
respectively, of the above -captioned property, hereby request
that a certain portion of said property be designated by the
Village of Elk Grove as a fire lane for the benefit of said
property, which portion is more particularly described on
Exhibit A attached hereto.
Upon designation of such portion as a fire lane,
the undersigned agree }ointly and severally to erect such
signs as may be required by the Fire Department to define,
and give public notice of, such fire lane.

inclusive, in Centex Industrial Park Unit No. 22 and
Lots -45 to 48, inclusive, in Centex Industrial Park
Unit No. 23, both being Subdivisions in Section 34,
Township 41 North, Range 11 East of the Third Principal
Meridian (except from the above described property taken
as a tract, the East 571.83 feet), in Cook County, Illinois.
