AN ORDINANCE A?;ENDING CHAFTER 18,
LICENSES AND PERMITS, OF THE MUNICIPAL
CODE, OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE
VILLAGE, AS IT PERTAINS TO LICENSE
FEES, KENNELS AND PET SHOPS, AND
TOBACCO DEALERS/CIGARETTE VENDING MACHINES
BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and Du Page, Illinois,
as follows:
Section 1: That Article III, License Fees, of Chapter 18,
Licenses and Permits, of the Municipal Code, of the Village of
Elk Grove Village, be and the same is hereby amended as follows:
A). That the license fee for a food caterer be amended
to $100.00 ner year.
B). That the license fee for an auctioneer license be
amended as follows:
$150.00 per year, or
$50.00 per month, or
$25,00 per day
C). That the license fee for service stations shall be amended
so as to provide for a fee of $25.00 per fuel dispensing device.
Section 2: That Article XXXI, Kennels, Animal Hospitals and Pet
Shops, be amended by deleting all references and provisions therein
with respect to animal hospitals and that Section 18.3101 shall be
further amended by including cats, fish and birds, so as to read as
follows:
18.301. Definition.
Kennels and pet shops shall mean any establishment where
dogs, cats, fish, birds and other small animals, are housed,
bred, groomed or sold,
Section 3: That Section 18.4304, Tobacco Dealers/Cigarette Vending
Machines, of Chapter 18, Licenses and Permits, be amended by adding
thereto the following:
Paragraph D.
All cigarette vending machines -must be in clear view of
the manager or an employee of the licensed premises at all
t'-n;e s .
Section 4: That any person, firm or corporation who violates any
of the provisions of this Ordinance shall be subject to a fine of not
less than Ten Dollars ($10.00) nor more than Five Hundred Dollars
($500.00) for each offense, and a separate offense shall be deemed
comitted on each day during or on which a violation occurs or continues.
Section 5: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage, approval and publication according to law.
