AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 8, SUBDIVISIONS, SECTION 8.004 OF THE
MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE RELATING TO PUBLIC
LAND DEDICATION
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of
the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois
Section 1: That Section 8.004, Public Lands, paragraph a) of Chapter 8,
Subdivisions, is hereby amended to read as follows:
Public Lands
a) Public land dedication is to be equal to ten percent of the
area sought to be annexed exclusive of rights-of-way for
major streets to be dedicated to the Village. In addition,
ten percent land dedication shall not include land designed
for storm water detention or retention purposes whether it is
a dry or wet bottom facility regardless of who is responsible
for the maintenance of same.
Section 2: That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage, approval and publication according to law.
