AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE XII, DEALERS IN ALCOHOLIC
LIQUOR, OF CHAPTER 18 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE
VILLAGE OF ELIC GROVE VILLAGE BY CREATING A VILLAGE
LIQUOR CONTROL COMMISSION.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and
DuPage, Illinois, as follows:
Section 1: That Article XII, Dealers in Alcoholic Liquor of
Chapter 18, of the Municipal Code be and the same is hereby amended
by adding thereto the following:
18.1207 - Village Liquor Control Sub -Commission.
There is hereby created a Village Liquor Control Sub -
Commission consisting of two rd'embers appointed by
the Village Liquor Control Commissioner. It shall be
the duty of the sub -commission to assist the Commiss-
ioner in the exercise of the powers and the performance
of the duties herein provided for such Commissioner.
Each Sub -Commissioner shall remain in office until a
replacement appointment is made or a new Village
Liquor Control Commissioner is elected. Final authority
for issuance or revocation of liquor licenses shall re-
main with the Village Liquor Control Commissioner.
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
